Any development towards blocking app ads?

The iObit Uninstaller is a very useful program on Windows 11. Unfortunately, they choose to display ads on the Windows screen, sometimes with no way to close them. is Adblock Plus working towards blocking such app ads?

Note: blocking ads in my case would not hurt advertisers or those who get an income from them, since I tend to avoid products and services I've seen in ads. It is my way of fighting for freedom from ads.
