Bug Report Adding a custom subscription in firefox 4

Post by looks-harmless »

I am running Firefox 4.0b7 for Mac OS X 10.6.5. A pretty recent version of Firefox 4 but obviously not the latest because even as I am writing this Firefox just started downloading an update.

Anyway, I installed the adblockplus extension (version 1.3.3). When I went to add a custom filter subscription, the list of known subscriptions and the "Subscription title" field were displayed, however the "Filter list location" field was not shown. I entered a value into the Subscription title field and pressed "Add subscription" anyways. Then received an error message (because I had not entered a URL) and the "Filter list location" box was shown but the bottom portion was cut off. Here's a screenshot after I pressed "Add subscription":

After I entered the URL and pressed "Add subscription" again everything seemed to work normally. It seems like the viewable area was not large enough even though the window was large enough. So, it's a minor problem but I just wanted to let you know. Thanks for making adblock plus.

Ouch... Looks like my hack didn't quite work out, I see the same issue in Firefox 3.6 on Windows. Fixed: https://hg.adblockplus.org/adblockplus/rev/d65f0bc5838b
