ABP Not Blocking Vid Ads on IGN

So I had been using AdBlock for several months now, and It worked great. Until the other night — all of a sudden it stopped blocking video ads on IGN.com. I went through a number of trouble shooting methods.

I eventually installed AdBlock Plus. It works fine elsewhere, but just won't block video ads on IGN.com. And again, I exhausted a number of trouble shooting methods. They all resulted in video content not playing at all.

What is going on? Has IGN just rendered AdBlock/ABP completely useless?

Does anybody have a solution?

anyway, if they adopted a server-centered system it's nothing to do (they can check if the video ad was downloaded)
