[EasyPrivacy] what does ?*method=track do?

Post by deernardz »

I have easylist and one of the filters in its list is ?*method=track. When it's enabled, I cannot load a flash player on last.fm. Can someone explain to me what ?*method=track is meant to do and if this could be the main reason people can't listen to music on the last.fm flash player?

That filter is in EasyPrivacy, not in EasyList. It is a generic pattern meant to block tracking servers. In this particular case you probably got a false positive - something for Ares2 to fix.
