[see workaround] Youtube ads not blocked on chrome

ABP was working fine last night before i went to bed, after i came back from work today, i went on youtube and the ads were still displaying as well as the other sites i visit, ice already reinstalled it, somebody please help.

I have done that, it works on every site but youtube now. Which is where adblock is needed the most,

It should be using HTML5, but turn on Chrome's click-to-play (a.k.a. "Let me choose when to run plugin content" in chrome://settings/content when you scroll down a little) to make sure; if you don't see a grey rectangle with a puzzle-piece icon, then it's using HTML5, and if you do, it's using Flash.

Also, it's a good idea to turn on click-to-play anyway, as a security feature and to decrease site loading times.

you should tell us when the ads start, what minute, second ..

To completely set off flash, just go to chrome://plugins find flash and click disable

The ad starts when ever i click on the video, but for the first time its at the start and every 10 minutes, or if you refresh. Also i have disabled Flash player now and ads on youtube still play.

"allow some non intrusive advertising" is checked or unchecked ?

What version is your ABP ?
chrome version ?
I hope it's not about annotations on the video.

Could be some google experiment, geographical ads based on your location

My ABP is at 1.9.1 and chrome is at Version 45.0.2454.85 m (64-bit). Also no its not about annotations, i turned them off long ago. Allow some non-intrusive advertising is unchecked. If more additional details help i am running windows 10, and around the time adblock stopped working on youtube is when i used the app CCleaner to clear my cache.

If you reseted / reinstalled chrome, well should be ok. I cant reproduce those ads, but apparently there are a lot of other guys experimenting them.
