How to I get rid of the ads at the top of my in box? Adblock plus got rid of the side ads but not the top annoying ads in my in box. Contacted support and since he did not have the same issue, he could not help. Very frustrating! I even uninstalled and reinstalled and they are still there.

There is a ticket / issue on the bug tracker (probably will be fixed for the version 1.5)

Yahoo are using a lot of weird tricks to show their ads, some users have already decided to move from yahoo to gmail.

If you are using the preview pane at the bottom, try changing it to display on the right from the settings in Yahoo Mail. That got rid of the top ad for me.

Previous versions removed this ad successfully. This most recent version is fail.

Yahoo changed the modality they instill that ad on top of the inbox.
