Question regarding IE 11

Adblock Plus is removing the annoying ads (thank you!), but is it possible it is interfering with desktop applications such as Stamps.com (prints shipping labels) and Pop-peeper (email notifier that runs in the taskbar)?
Both applications started crashing after installing ABP and stopped crashing when uninstalled.

Almost willing to put up with the crashes to get rid of the ads.
