This started with a complaint I posted on my facebook page: Is there any way I can block all occurrences of the word "Kardashian" in my browser?
Someone suggested I learn how to write Firefox extensions -- and I thought of you guys!
I would like to suggest an extension that blocks all links that contain keywords from a user-editable list. At the moment, my list would consist of "kardashian," "bieber," and "tom cruise." I'm sure everyone will have their own list.
The possibilities are endless, and extend far beyond idiot celebrities.
You could call it "Celebrity Block," or even better, "celeb-b-gone." Adblock has already made the web a better place. Please keep it going!
