Options loading time - bug?

The loading times for the ABP Options on Safari 7/OS X 10.9.2 are extremely long. It takes nearly three minutes (2:55) to load them. The progress indicator stops half way and the beach ball appears for three minutes bevor the side suddenly finishes loading.
All other features like block ads or (de)activate ABP work fine and fast.

Even on my Mac Mini the options page loads in the fraction of a second. Which exact version of Safari and Adblock Plus are you using? Could you please also provide a screenshot with the options page loaded?

Safari 7.0.3/ABP 1.7.4.1147. I deleted all of my own filters, now it loads instantly.

Will this be fixed? I have loads of own filters. I mean I don’t need to open the settings all the time but it would be nice if having loads of own filters wouldn’t affect the loading time of the options.

I can reproduce it, when I add quite a few custom filters. But it seems that this code can be optimized, see https://issues.adblockplus.org/ticket/342.
