on mail.yahoo.com, the images for buttons are blocked, but I can't find the filter that is blocking it.
Even when I disable for this page only, it still blocks the images for the buttons.
adblock blocks buttons for Yahoo Mail
Re: adblock blocks buttons for Yahoo Mail
What buttons? Do you mean the 'rich text' compose buttons (bold, italic, font, etc)?sonygirl wrote:on mail.yahoo.com, the images for buttons are blocked, but I can't find the filter that is blocking it.

Re: adblock blocks buttons for Yahoo Mail
I am having a similar problem with MyYahoo today. The filter I traced to the problem is under Advertisement Filters:sonygirl wrote:on mail.yahoo.com, the images for buttons are blocked, but I can't find the filter that is blocking it.

/yimg\.com(.*/adv/|/a[^u])(?!vision)/
I removed the "|/a" portion and it now works. It seems Yahoo is using yimg.com for background components as well as ads.
Re: adblock blocks buttons for Yahoo Mail
It seems that you use Filterset G. You'll have to report the problem in G's forum to get it fixed.BrentG wrote:The filter I traced to the problem is under Advertisement Filters:

Be sure it hasn't been fixed already by forcing an update in FiltersetG updater extension and check again.
//edit: obviously I can't read so plz ignore this
BTW, it's not recommend to use Filterset G with Adblock Plus, see here: http://adblockplus.org/en/faq_project#filterset.g

@BrentG
Anything under "Advertisement filters" are YOURS ... they are not be part of any CURRENT ABP subscription (including the latest Filterset.G).
If you did not add your any filtering of your own there, then they may have been transferred from the original Adblock to Adblock Plus when you updated form one to the other .... any filters from the old Adblock (including an old copy of Filterset.G?) were moved to "Advertisement filters" and "Exception rules" in your ABP filter listings. All current subscriptions are under their OWN headings in ABP.
Like I said, any filters NOT classified under a "Filter subscription" are YOURS ... not any of ours. Delete those if you don't know why they are there.
