Adblock not blocking anything.. did I delete the filters?

So I just installed leopard clean and installed firefox and then of course adblock plus. Perfect everything is working fine. Then I go to a site and I notice that there's an ad so I block that one. A little later I notice that there are ads everywhere. I am wondering if I accidentally made adblock only block that one ad. I don't see anything else on the filters, but I don't know if I am supposed to either.

Also, I think when I normally install adblock plus for the first time it asks me what list I want to use. I didn't see that when I installed it. I also just uninstalled it and reinstalled it, but I guess the settings are kept somewhere because the one I added is still there and nothing else. I deleted the one I added just to see if that would help, but still ads everywhere. Please help.. I forgot how ugly most of the internet is without adblock.

Well nevermind I guess. I stumbled across the subscriptions page and subscribed to the easylist and now it's all working fine.

I am curious as to why it didn't ask me at first install.. but as long as it's fixed I can go back to surfing the web without the wait.
