Blocking the objects but free from the URL or web page

I want to block the objects like picture, flash, java. But it will be free from the URL.

For example, I will choose "Block all flash content" from the menu and then it will block all flash content and flash animations won't open at all web pages. If I disable this command, it will open at all web pages. And this will work for pictures, java and the others.

How can I do this.

*$object - block all objects (Flash/Java/etc)
*$image - block all images
*$subdocument - block all frames

Thanks, this really works. But now, i want to enable or disable images and objects individually.
If i want to disable objects and enable images or disable images and enable objects or disable all, how can i do this?

I don't want to enable or disable this filters from the "Preferences" menu consistently.
Also i don't want to enable or disable Adblock Plus.

Is this possible or not? If it's possible, how can i do this?

Search for the extension "PrefButtons". It has the features you wish. Perhaps you need to bump it in order to work with Fx2.

You probably want to add exception rules for the images you want to see. E.g. open the sidebar, find the one you need, right-click and choose "Add exception rule for item".
