Adblock Not Working
So, i've had this issue MANY times. What i do is i get firefox, and first thing i do is get adblock. It works fine for the next week or so, but then i see ads all over the place. Whenever this happens, i uninstall everything on my computer having to do with firefox, reinstall it, and get adblock. Then a week later, i start seeing ads. Most of the time i see just outlines of ads, which are still annoying, and on one edge, it says "Ads supported by (usually BetterSurf)." I have windows 8, and i'm using adblock 2.4

Re: Adblock Not Working
Ok, i now know my system is infected, but nothing else really helps. I have the newest everything, i even double checked. But the the thing is how do i get rid of it, i dont really want to download anything, so if there's any other way to get rid of it and NOT download something, please post a link. I uninstalled everything that had to do with bettersurf. Also, is it only firefox that's infected? or my whole system, because when i get chrome, which starts not working after a week so i uninstall it, i get no ads from bettersurf.
If anyone can help me, that would be great!

Re: Adblock Not Working
As the original issue could be related to malware and the foillowing posts are somehow unrelated, I'll close this. If you are still facing a defect behaviour with ABP after having followed all of mapx' instructions, please file an issue at https://issues.adblockplus.org
