[Not solved] Pb installation from adblockplus.org

Post by Pierre771 »

Hello

when you try to install ou update the dev build, the site is declared "connexion failed" (cf screenshot below).

You must download the xpi and install it manually and update it manually too.

Tried it with a new profile, installed Adblock Plus 2.4.0.3747 and I was able to update to the latest dev build by forcing a manual update in the Add-ons Manager.

Good evening

That's right, everything works fine... in GNU/Linux (my partition in Linux)

It doesn't work in Windows (Windows 7) with two different profiles. (connexion failed, cf screenshot)
It doesn't work either in our other machine, in Windows 7 too (my wife's)
In that case the xpi must be downloaded manually and installed manually too

There is certainly a reason but I don't see which

(edit 12/12/2013 21:17)

Maybe a certificate pb ? My 2 Windows 7 machines run with Bitdefender. But everything seems OK...

cf my screenshot

Hello

That's right and I apologize : it works with an entirely new and empty profile
