Hello,

Can you load the following address in either browser?
https://easylist-downloads.adblockplus.org

What result do you get when you ping the above server?
  1. Hold down the Windows logo key and press R
  2. In the Run box that popped up, type cmd then press Enter.
  3. In the command prompt window, type the following then press Enter. Paste the results in your reply.

    Code: Select all

    ping easylist-downloads.adblockplus.org
Does it make a difference if you switch to Google Public DNS?

It's a problem with your ISP's DNS.
http://simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/Domain_Name_System

You two need to get in touch with your ISP and report the problem.

I've reported problems to my ISP and they gave me alternative servers which also don't work.
I tried DNS servers from several Croatian ISPs and Easylist server is blocked.Actually, message is
Server Not Found.Updating is working if I use free public DNS servers.Currently I use Level3 servers.
Is there someone from Croatia with different ISP to tell me if she/he has problems with updating
filters from Easylist server (Easylist,Easyprivacy,Fanboy's Annoyance and Malware Domains) ?

If you don't get an answer here, try asking on an Internet-related Croatian forum.

Ping test result :

Ping request could not find host easylist-downloads.adblockplus.org
Please check the name and try again

I've tried 3 times and result is the same.

I was wondering if your ISP's DNS was returning a stale record. It seems it's not returning any record at all, which might be explained by this theory:
Wikipedia wrote:A number of large ISPs have configured their DNS servers to violate rules (presumably to allow them to run on less-expensive hardware than a fully compliant resolver), such as by disobeying TTLs, or by indicating that a domain name does not exist just because one of its name servers does not respond. [12]
Anyway, this doesn't change anything. The issue might go away on its own in time, and if it doesn't, your ISP is the only one who can fix their DNS.

Same as before, as a workaround, you can use an alternative DNS.

Flushing DNS didn't help,I believe that reboot also flush DNS.
Dude from my ISP told me to use free DNS servers and check if problem is
solved in a few days.
Anyway,thank you for your help.
