Can't uninstall adblock plus from Seamonkey 1.0x

Hello,

I have just tried Adblock plus the first time. As I have now some strange behavior on my email folders I would like to uninstall for checking the reason of this matter.

But I have not found an uninstall option?

I use Seamonkey from time to time, but never uninstalled any extension (I know it is not easy, so I only installed a couple of them).
As far as I know, you should use some specific unistalling extension (Extension Manager extension). You can try to remove it manually, but note that ABP is installed in the general folder, not in your profile folder, so I think it is not advisable unless you really know how to do it.

I have now saved my profile and have made a complete uninstall from Seamonkey and reinstall without ABP. (On this occassion I've seen a lot of rubbish in the various config files from previous upgrades.)

Now it is running fine including ABP. However, I would like to know if ABP was the source or not and how to remove ABP completely without deleting all. It is quite tricky to rebuilt my profile again from backup.
