We have just launched a client website on the subdomain http://advertising.racingpost.com and its instantly being blocked by adblock plugin.
The site does not contain any advertising - Can this subdomain be added to some whitelist somewhere so that adblock does not block this site for all out potential users?
Can my site be added to a global whitelist
Re: Can my site be added to a global whitelist
ABP and the filter subscriptions that contain the rules for blocking are maintained completely separately. The only global whitelist is for "acceptable advertising" which I doubt your site qualifies for.
See http://adblockplus.org/en/acceptable-ads
Your best option is to choose a different name.

Re: Can my site be added to a global whitelist
I would definitely advise on a name change.
To use the word 'advertising' in ANY domain name is surely marketing suicide these days. I would avoid such use of 'hot' words that will no doubt be blocked by thousands of ad blocking and anti virus/malware programs and utilities the world over!
You should seriously consider making the domain less obviously a target for such programs ( albeit a false positive!) as your site will certainly suffer due to your using the word 'advertising'.
Good luck!
