Element hiding: limiting rules to certain domains...

Post by Palomarsun »

Hi all. I have tried absolutely everything (as far as I know anyway) to get rid of some text adverts on:
http://www.jpost.com/servlet/Satellite? ... 4525865746

but I just can't crack it (inexperience is a factor I'm sure). The ads I'm trying to clear are on the bottom left hand side of the page under the title 'Specials'. Any help is very much appreciated, thanks in advance.

ecjs's answer is the correct one. Works here. Did you try a SHIFT + 'reload'.

Are you sure that it IS in your list (maybe it didn't get entered?)

my bad, thanks very much guys, all's good now. I had a conflict with another programme's hotkey which didn't allow me to use Ctrl+Shift+R to do a clean refresh. strangley though I had cleared the cache several times via "fasterfox's" status bar icon but it didn't have the desired results like I just got now. All's well that ends well as they say, thanks again guys and I send you warm regards from Australia.
