Hi!
I registered to kongregate.com and received their email. Inside that email was a web bug from:
https://a10.emltrk.com/
Which appears to redirect to amazonaws.com. I added the following filter in my personal list until you eventually add it to EasyPrivacy:
||emltrk.com^
Thanks!
emltrk.com (email tracker)
Re: emltrk.com (email tracker)
Added to EasyPrivacy (https://hg.adblockplus.org/easylist/rev/c8c246fbec4f)
Code: Select all
||emltrk.com^$third-party
Re: emltrk.com (email tracker)
Thanks!
Why $third-party though? If I load the site first party, nothing shows up. It's not a webpage per se, and I've been told that many $third-party in a list will slow ABP down. Am not questioning your choice, just wondering ^^

Re: emltrk.com (email tracker)
The format I have used is used is the standard for EasyPrivacy. There isn't a website at present, but we won't deny the company one should they decide to develop the domain. I'd certainly prefer to preemptively disable the filter first-party than have to check every completely blocked domain to verify that there isn't a website.Greg wrote:Why $third-party though? That information is incorrect - the text of a filter is checked first and only if a match is found will the options be examined.Greg wrote:It's not a webpage per se, and I've been told that many $third-party in a list will slow ABP down.
