Webmail interface "web.de"

Post by Wolfgang »

Hi!

Which filters can I use to make the webmail interface page of "web.de" usable?

This is what the page looks like when abp is deactivated:

And this is what the page looks like when adp is activated:

As you can see the frames are misaligned a bit. What can I do to get rid of the adds without making the page unusable?

What subscriptions do you use ?

Also please provide a direct link to the page in question to avoid any chance of misunderstanding.

The webmail interface can be started by logging in on this page: http://web.de/fm/

After logging in on that page you get to to the webmail interface.

Right now I subscripted "EasyList Germany + EasyList".

The page you quoted states that you are blocked either because you are outside of Germany or because you are using an IP that has been banned because of spam. You can log in from outside Germany, but you cannot create a new account from abroad.

If you are outside Germany, you could try to register using a proxy inside Germany.

It does look normal for me. Did you try to clear the cache?

Clearing the cache doesn't make any difference.

I logged in with the details above and the page looks fine to me. It should be noted that I don't have any German specific subscriptions but I do have the following:

Code: Select all

Fanboy main
Fanboy tracking
p2p
Italian
Czech
Spanish
+ some custom filters of my own
That pretty much rules out anything obvious...Might be something in EasyList Germany

You are absolutely right: when I unsubscribe from the external filter lists the page looks normal. Then I can use CTRL+SHIFT+K to select the elements I don't want to see and: tada! They are gone, while the rest of the page keeps the layout!

I'm sorry for the inconvenience! I really should have thought of this solution myself.

Unsubscribing from your lists will have ads show on all other pages again. If you can track the offending subscription down (and offending rule if possible) it can be fixed.

I'm afraid my knowledge about web pages isn't great enough to find out what's wrong with the list. :(
