Whitelist text ads

Ok I have a simple query. How can i witelist text ads. I hate flash ads etc but I don't mind text ads as I would like to be able to sponsor the site. Is there a way I can allow google adsense ads etc to be able to show if they are text only? I tried this but it allows all adsense ads. How can I only allow text based ads specifically for adsense though other networks as well

I do not know of a subscription which has filters grouped by the type of advert they block, which makes it almost impossible to tell you which filters to disable. In many cases one advert is blocked by multiple generic filters. My recommendation would to be whitelist the sites which you wish to support using a filter such as

The problem is that I don't even realise there is an ad until I disable ad block plus lol

If you whitelist the websites you visit regularly you will see all of the content, including the adverts if any are present. You could always use the web tool to disable Adblock Plus on all bookmarked pages so that you may support your favourite sites.

Yah I'd prefer to just whitelist text ads etc but oh well

Generally, you can relatively easily allow Google ads. If you are using EasyList you should replace it by "EasyList without element hiding" from en/subscriptions (depending on page structure generic element hiding rules might hide the ads even though they are allowed). Then you add the following rule to your filter list:

This should do. However, this will allow all Google ads - even the (rather uncommon) image and Flash ads. Distinguishing by type of ad isn't simple at all.
