[fp] San Jose Mercury News

Post by malch »

Adblock Plus causes the "Search Tool" to be obscured/inaccessible on the San Jose Mercury News website:

http://www.mercurynews.com/

The search box is hidden under the Mercury News logo.

Adblock Plus v 1.1.3, Easylist (USA), Firefox 3.6, Windows XP SP3

Any solutions, other than disabling Adblock Plus on that site?

Fixed in EasyList (https://hg.adblockplus.org/easylist/rev/4584a5845586)

Code: Select all

~mercurynews.com###adposition3
~mercurynews.com##.adElement
If you update your subscriptions in approximately ten minutes you should find that the issue has been resolved.

There's a bar right above the social buttons on this article page where there are ads for some stores. EasyList and Fanboy already block those ads, but the "Today's Deals" picture is still there. Is there any way to block this part entirely?
