FF crashes on eBay if ABP is activated

Post by Andy_S »

Hi,

I did search, but didn't anything similar to my problem. I'm sorry if I did miss it.

Anyway, eBay.com works fine to enter, but when I search on eBay, FF (latest version v3.5) immediately stops responding if I have ABP activated. I tried to inactivate it and search, and eBay worked fine. When re-activated it crashed again.

I have removed all blocked strings with "ebay" from ABP, but I still have the same problem. Does anyone know why this is happening?

I use Firefox 3.5, ABP and eBay without issue...

Try update your ABP to the latest development build from:

devbuilds/adblockplus/

What Add-ons / Plugins have you got installed in Firefox ? One or more of them could be causing issues.

You might also like to try creating another clean profile and seeing if the issue is reproducible.

If it was another add-on, then eBay would make FF crash even when i deactivate ABP? And there is no other site whatsoever with this problem.
