allow yahoo.co.uk access

Post by lolleypop »

I am having trouble using the above. yahoo suggested that I may have something blocking access or deleting all cookies. Could somone please explain how I can allow yahoo entry? I am afraid I cannot understand how to operate the system of ABP.I would like to check if this is blocking Yahoo? Your help would be welcome. Lolleypop

Yahoo problem

Post by lolleypop »

when I log on to Yahoo.co.uk. it leaves the login page and goes to the loading page. During the loading, the address bar keeps flashing, the bar above the system bar, where it shows loading progress and the name of the web site. These also keeps flashing, the page never loads. this problem started when Yahoo told me to ensure all cookies are allowed. my complaint to them at that time was that everytime I went to yahoo I had to logon. I might add that my wife has the same problem on her PC.The flashing only occurs on Firefox, IE7 just requires a logon everytime. I hope you can understand all this. Regards

You should read what is written in Hubird's link.

First step is to disable ABP to see if things work (Hubird's link above).

If it still doesn't work even after a disable, then it's likely to be some other issue unrelated to ABP.

If disabling ABP does make your site work, then the next step is finding the bad filter: http://adblockplus.org/en/getting_start ... -positives
