"Error: Invalid tab ID: xx" when trying to report an unblocked ad in AdblockPlus

Recreate: Open a page with a pop-over that isn't blocked; click on the Adblock icon, then the 'report an issue' option at the bottom of the drop-down; this error appears in a small pop-up:
Error: Invalid tab ID: 7

Getting exactly the same problem. On the Merriam-Webster dictionary site, it's now swarming with ads. Tried to report it and got the error
Error: Invalid tab ID: 120

That filter rule might be outdated.
