Element rules won't stick

I'm trying to remove ads on a website, once I set up a element rule the ad goes away but as soon as I refresh the page that ads (or elements) come right back up.

Ok, I got it to work but only after I deleted all of my filter rules and element rules...I did a backup first though.
I just cleaned all the old rules out and started over.
There must be some type of conflict in my rules set somewhere.
