Images not being blocked

Hi there,

On the following web page:
http://www.usatoday.com/tech/news/compu ... acks_x.htm
there are several images at the top of the page (Cars.com, CareerBuilder.com) and a Special Offers flash object at the bottom of the column along the left side of the page. I have added the images and the flash object to my block list, but for some reason the images and flash object continue to be displayed. I also changed the AdBlock preferences to add tabs to the flash object, but AdBlock fails to add a tab to the flash object on this page.

Any ideas? Thanks!

This single filter will block all "top" ads; it won't stop the left side bottom ad but it's a start:
/ad_|logging\.to|page(ad\d\.google|redirect)|realmedia/ads/

As for bottom left one, I checked box under options on 0.6 AdBlock Plus, and sure enough a tab appeared ont the flash item. I clicked tab, and added the prescribed filter:
http://images.usatoday.com/kk/classifie ... ass_02.swf

and that wiped out the lower left column "flasher." Just add those 2, then, and you're fixed up. /p

Thanks for the suggestions. But strangely, the images and the flash object are still not being blocked for me. I had already added the URL for the flash object which you suggested adding. But the images at the top and the flash object still show up on the page. The fact that the blocking works for you is even stranger, because it suggests it's not as simply as an image that gets around AdBlock.
