Which subscription did you use, and which version?
You should be using ad block plus, and it is suggested not to use filter set G in the abp doc
To view the filter list: click on the right arrow of the abp icon (the red one in the navigation toolbar)
then click preferences, you should see the filters
To add an exception: just use @@ in front of a filter

I'm using "Adblock Plus Version 0.7.5.5."
The affected Forum Software is "vBulletin® Version 3.7.3 (Deutsch)".
The concret site is http://forum.danzig.de/.
Because this site does not use any ads, i deaktivate meanwhile AdblockPlus during the log-in-time, to avoid trouble.
There is an other Forum (www.cruiserforum.de) i am often visiting.
It is based on WoltLab-Software "Burning Board 2.3.6 pl2" and does not show any problems with Adblock Plus.
Nevertheless, i may not miss Adblock Plus, it is an outstanding blocking tool!
Next week i will test smk´s advice!

I couldn't find a subscription that is blocking that there, so maybe you accidentally added a filter yourself?
You can find out what filter is blocking something by opening the blockable items list (Ctrl+Shift+V or via the ABP-icon menu) while you are on the site and look for red entries (see here). Right click on the filter->edit filter in effect->delete the filter->hit OK.
