the filter list malwaredomains and its website not longer exist's
malwaredomains.com is now dead.

its because it merged with another site/list.
here is the link to that site, it explains some, but does this mean, that there is no list
to protect or browser from a malware/infections ?.

Following its deprecation, we've already begun removing that list from adblockplus.org/subscriptions (see issue). We also added information about its deprecation in the filter list itself to inform existing users and are going to mark it as offline in order for Adblock Plus to no longer try to download the latest version from our servers.

There are a bunch of alternative anti-malware filter lists out there but note that Adblock Plus currently does not recommend a particular one.
