Too many filters = slow

OS: Mac OS X 10.4.3
System: PowerMac G5 + 2.5GB RAM
Software: Firefox 1.5
Expensions: Adblock+ 0.5.10. No other extensions except those two which came with Firefox.

My problems:
1. Adblock+ prefences window opens very slowly.
2. All tabs opened slowly.

Solution:
I removed all filters + DIV option is off.

Alternative solution: upgrade to Adblock Plus 0.7.

uh yeah.. still using adblock 0.5 plus. no problems at all, maybe because i havent been brainwashed into using something less useful
