Text size

Post by BrickB »

Thank you for amazing work! Finally I can get rid of this annoying and useless ads! :D

I have a problem with text size. In settings -> display -> text size i set "Extra large" but it doesn't work. There is still default text size on websites. I rebooted my phone but without effect. I have Android 4.4.4.

Zooming work's ok but without wrapping text. Dolphin browser has a very usefull feature - it wrapps text after zooming so you always see whole text on the screen. Is it possible to implement this feature in Adblock Browser?

As I wrote, I set text size "Extra large" but it doesn't work. Text size is still small.

Some sites hard-code the font size, unfortunately.
There's a buzzin' in my brain I really can't explain; I think about it before they make me go to bed.

It doesn't work on every site: google, wikipedia etc. Font size is still the same (default). Is it working for you? If you change font size in settings do you see bigger text on website?

Another small bug: I changed browser language to US English but most of browser options aren''t changed - it's still in my phone language.

Last thing: what is this and how can I remove this icons? (marked by red square on the screen)

hey BrickB!

The bug regarding the language and the icons you are seeing worked correctly on the smartphones I tested.
I'm trying to find a way to test it on the device you are using.
However, the text size I could reproduce and indeed it is not working properly. I will communicate this internally and hopefully we will work on it soon.

Thanks for your feedback,

I will check it on a different device (Samsung Alpha) and I will let you know.
The bug with language disappeared now after closing and reopening the browser. It seems to work okay now after language changing.
Is it a bug with this icons? Shouldn't they be there?

Thanks for the help. I appreciate your contribution to adverts and google free software.

Hey BrickB!

Seems like the icons showing is a bug, but I'm trying to figure out why that is happening.
I will get back to you if I find a solution for it.

You are always welcome! :)

How I add this icons:
1. Options (three dots in the top right corner)
2. Send/open with (the button below refresh)
3. List of programs (viber, total commander, skype, etc.)
4. I tap one of them (e.g. skype)
5. Skype opens in "send file" mode
6. Skype icon is added to the list
