Glitch with Appraisers Forum

Post by efrank »

Installed Adblock Plus several months ago and everything went fine. I am on Appraisers Forum frequently and AF uses ads for support. Adblock Plus recognized the AF exception in the Manage section and I was able to use AF. In the last 2 weeks I keep getting a message from AF that it is being blocked and cannot open. I have tried uninstalling Adblock Plus and it does not appear in the programs, but still get the same message when trying to access Appraisers Forum. I am using IE 11 on Windows 7. Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks

I tested in another browser and new filters are needed

Code: Select all

appraisersforum.com#@#.adsbygoogle
@@||pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/*/show_ads_impl.js$domain=appraisersforum.com
anyway if you don't want to use other browsers (chrome, firefox) you could try to prepare your filters in firefox and opy them in ABP for IE

Chrome and Firefox are not used.
Reinstalled ABP and still get the same message. Still do not have access to Appraisers Forum.
What do I need to do to completely uninstall ABP?

Thanks,

I can get to Appraisers Forum and open it but when I try to open a category or message I get the "error" message that the ad blocker is not allowing the site/post to open.
Even when I do an uninstall of ABP with Windows, do a Restart and try to access the AF I get the same message. After reinstalling, I open the settings for ABP and get the same management exceptions that were previously installed.
Right now, it appears I cannot totally uninstall ABP. I'd like to have ABP but not if I cannot have it work the way it is supposed to or if I cannot uninstall the program.
All suggestions considered.

Thanks,
