AdBlock blocks all images even when disabled

Hi,
I've tried to disable an image ad on a page and after i've done that all of the images are now gone from the page.

I've decided to turn off the adblock for that specific page, but all of the images are still gone. If i open the page in IE everything looks right.

How can i remove all rules for a particular site? In fact - how can i disable any rule? I couldn't figure it out just by looking at available options.

That is not possible. If ABP is disabled (greyed-out icon) then nothing is blocked by ABP.

Go in to your Firefox:
TOOLS ... OPTIONS .... CONTENT .... and look at the "Exceptions" for "Load images automatically" (and make sure the checkbox is "ON" for that setting). Delete anything in there. Somehow you may have inadvertently blocked something with Firefox itself ... not with ABP.

Any subscription or filter can be disabled simply by clicking off the green bullet after it in the filter window and clicking APPLY or OK.

Remember ... any filters contained under a heading of "Advertisement filters", Element hiding rules", or "Exception rules" are YOUR filters and are not part of ABP or any subscriptions. They were made by YOU.

It's possible that #1 is you problem.

The page you're visiting is probably cached, clear your cache and then refresh and the images will reappear. (To do this go to Tools > Clear Private Data).

Only need to "Shift + reload" to force a fresh page (a little trick I learned years ago from making web sites. A lot of computer literate people don't even know that one ).

I wouldn't think the cache would be the problem here because something would usually come through on a refresh. The OP says ALL his images are gone. I don't usually have to clear my cache or even 'force' an upload to get things back that I blocked ... do you? When I disable ABP and reload the page (normally) the blocked stuff shows up without clearing or forcing.

I'll bet he accidentally turned off the "Load images automatically" option in Firefox or added something that blocked everything.

Thank you, Rick, for the suggestions for getting pictures back. The one that worked for me was the link to forums mozillazine for images. I really appreciate you sharing your advice! My own efforts at figuring it out were getting me nowhere. I'm willing to try, but my knowledge is rather limited. Thank you.
