ie 10 crash upon logon to WSJ.Com

Post by CapnJPaul »

IE 10 Ver 10.0.9200.17375 Win 7 pro 64bit
Browser hang and crash upon logon WSJ.Com, [wall street journal (online)]
CPU overload and high memory usage.
This is an ongoing problem.
With ABLK removed there is absolutely no problem. (except for ads of course)

Does it still fail if you upgrade to IE 11?

I have to keep ie10 as several of my main sites will not work with ie1.
Further, if ADBL is turned back on after initial wsj logon, the session will continue with no problems noted. However the main side panel on the right continues to display their main ad (but is unchanging). This may be my answer to my problem. But the problem remains unanswered for other users. . . .

I'd think if you have sites that don't work with IE11 itself, you'd just shunt them into Compatibility Mode; anyway, I don't know why that crash happens.

FYI: Prior to the recent upgrade of the wsj site ie10 and ADBL worked perfectly . . . The new version of this site brought on this problem. The problem may be a only a warning of further to come.

Thank you for a great program!
