VIP Box TV detecting Adblock

Using Firefox with ABP on a MAC and getting detected by
vipbox.tv

http://www.vipleague.se/
http://www.vipleague.se/sports/motorsports.html

Have EasyList and Adblock Warning Removal list filters.
Was using custom filter @@||cdn.vipleague.se/js/ads.js which work for a few days but has stopped working

Sadly that doesn't seem to work either.

The only thing I've found to work since yesterday is removing the detection overlay using another add on.

On my machine, this is very strange. I added this to my Ad Blocking Rules filter group, and it actually appears that not only is the site's javascript disabling these rules within my filter, it's actually adding them in as exceptions. Unless I disable Exception Rules altogether, in which case it just disables my rules.

EDIT: OK, maybe not. I blew all the rules I added away and started over. Will report back with more well researched findings. Sorry, first day with filters for me. I'll try not to report like I know what I'm talking about until I'm more certain.

EDIT 2: If I add this filter to Ad Blocking Rules and enable it, then go to vipbox.tv, vipbox.tv redirects to vipbox.sx. The stupid popup that covers the screen is moved down out of the way so I can click the link for baseball. When I click the link for baseball I end up at strikeout.co. On that site I get a full screen transparent overlay that blocks everything from being accessed, so no baseball game for me. I'm obviously not going to enable ads on this sketchy site.

I don't understand your issue. The filters above are exceptions.
Be sure to disable/remove other custom filters for those sites. Keep and test only the filters above.
Browser ?
ABP version ?
Disable other bloking addons and if you use firefox be sure not using (remove it) an addon named adbeaver.

Oh... so they're supposed to be placed in the "Exception Rules" section?! I'll try that. Dumb question #2... can I put them all in one filter rule as a full copy paste or do I need to put them all in as separate exceptions?

Copying and pasting directly from the list to a new filter group did the trick for me. Thanks!

that fixed .SE

then when i clicked on a baseball link there, it blocks it like .SE was blocked

took me to strikeout.co which seems to be their baseball site
