The missing file is adblockplusie-1.0-en-us-x64.msi I use Everything to search and it isn't anywhere on my computer (I have 6 hard drives installed LOL). I tried extracting the installer to a folder to see if it produced the file but it doesn't produce any executable. I've tried versions 1.1, 1.2 and 1.2.731. All produce the same missing file message. Always worked fine when adding to Firefox but IE uses the windows installer and just doesn't work in my case. I have Windows 7 x64 Professional. It's so hard to tell ads from actual new stories on MSN these days, so really need this to install. Thanks.

Well, the second link led me to go hunting for a specific MS Fixit file http://support2.microsoft.com/mats/prog ... uninstall/ and it worked. Thanks for getting back to me.
