Whitelist fails to unblock new Google Adsense ads
Then you should take a look at the answers: http://adblockplus.org/forum/viewtopic. ... 0539#10539
The bug you mean is probably bug 14814 but unless somebody can suggest a solution this one will not be fixed any time soon.

Unfortunately this is not a fix for "end-users" which I know a lot and have told them to use adblockplus.
They wonder if their google-adsense code is broken or adblockplus is broken and as their adsense-code isn't they tell everybody that adblockplus is, which is sad and bad.
Anyway, I hope there will be a real working whitelist some day. Thanks for the effort which is put in the product now already.

What does that mean?Wladimir Palant wrote:Well, EasyElement is not promoted to end-users - for that exact reason.
AdblockPlus in its default setup does in the current releases hide Adsense-Ads although the site is whitelisted, so it's "broken" for the end-user.
No EasyElement hacking involved nowhere..

It does, the end-used selects a filter-list (like Cedric) which matches for his country.chewey wrote:Absolutely not.Dan wrote:AdblockPlus in its default setup does in the current releases hide Adsense-Ads although the site is whitelisted
Adblock Plus doesn't filter or hide anything by default.
With that list and the default setup the new Adsense-Ads are not shown even in the domain/site is whitelisted.
That's a fact. Go, try. For end-user that's a bug.

You could have just pointed out Cédrics Liste to begin with instead of dragging on a point about a bug that Wladimir is already aware of.
I think chewey from this forum is the one who maintains that list so I guess the rest of this issue is up to him.

Indeed. Yes, my list uses element hiding rules to hide google
ads - on google.com and google.de - and I will probably add
some other google.ccTLDs.
This is completely intentional and responds to the wishes of
a big majority of my subscribers.
If you want to see google's ads with my subscription, you can
simply deactivate the element hiding rules containing google
by clicking on the green button at the end of their line.
Google ads on other domains are filtered like any other ad by
a normal advertising filter (with the exception of the occasional
#iframe(google_ads_frame), but those aren't too popular) - which
can be overridden by a whitelisting rule without any hassle.
