Can't find any Forum for new users (like me) to ask dumb/stupid questions...
My question: Is there an Adblock Plus icon that I can put on my desktop, task bar, or status bar?

ABP is a browser extension, not a separate application (except on Android, but you're asking about Windows), and it loads when your browser loads and runs while it's running; if you're asking about something to double-click to get to the ABP forum or documentation, you can make an Internet Shortcut to wherever you want.
There's a buzzin' in my brain I really can't explain; I think about it before they make me go to bed.

The Adblock Plus icon is on Internet Explorer's status bar (at the bottom of the window). The status bar is hidden by default in recent versions of IE though. To display it, right-click the spot between the New Tab button and the Home button and check "Status bar".
