abp 1.2 on ie 11, installed, turned on & not working?

Thanks, mapx. I did, but I don't see the abp icon in my status bar, it could be related to allowing third-party browser extension stuff. could you plz tell me where to find it in the "Internet Options"?

Do you start normally IE ? ( I mean not from some pinned app)
Do you see AdblockPlusEngine.exe process in your task manager ?

I understand that your status bar is already enabled, do you confirm ?

Now how can I disable the annoying facebook, twitter, google plus, etc. sharing links that I'm seeing on almost every page across the web?

you can subscribe only 1 filters list for now (it's not as ABP for chrome / firefox where you can add more lists and custom filters)

anyway ... there is an workaround (copy patterns.ini already prepared with the lists you want from firefox to IE)

(for the social stuff you need to add fanboy's social list in firefox)
