Can ABP block malware and ransomware like Zepto?

Hello. Is it possible to create ABP for Mail-Services? I mean, that it can be a part not only of Chrome, Firefox, Explorer, Safari...but also a part of Googlemail, Yahoo, Web, GMX... or a part of Skype, for example? I have noticed that the most malware and ransomware come with the help of Email services. Such viruses as: Teslacrypt, Locky, Cerber virus or Zepto ransomware:
Is it so difficult to create ABP Help-Extension for Mail services to block them? It can be a nice protection for all people!!!
