Android 10
For the last few weeks, every time I click a link in a web page, it downloads, or attempts to redownload the web page as a file. I updated to Adblock Browser 3.2.1 just now and this behavior is still happening. This does not happen if I type or paste the web address in the search bar or if I click one of the icons for frequently visited pages.
Interestingly I also use the Adblock Browser on my Android phone and there the software does not exhibit the same behavior, but instead, loads pages normally without attempting to download.
I did look through the Adblock Browser settings and didn't see anything obvious which would cause this problem.
The files have no file extension. They seem to be html, but do not actually load as a web page in a browser. Perhaps they are used for development - bug resolution?
If the images load, one shows a first time download, the other the second time a link is clicked:
