Adblock Plus

I know the dev builds have .msi files for 32 and 64-bit installations. Is the same true for the 1.0 stable release? Thanks.

I understand there is an .exe installer - in particular, I'd like to know if a .msi version exists of the stable release as well, similar to the dev builds.

Well; I can't install it from de/internet-explorer nor download it form https://downloads.adblockplus.org/adblockplusie-1.0.exe. What's happening?

I too, would love to see an MSI package to easily deploy this silently.

as stupid as it sounds, looks like if you download using IE , it fails (for god knows why reason ) but if you download with firefox works https://downloads.adblockplus.org/adblockplusie-1.0.exe

+1 on the MSI for easy deployment via GPO.

We are using MSI, the .exe installer actually just bundles the x86 and x64 MSIs and runs the correct one based on whether you have a 32-bit or 64-bit system.

Would you still prefer the individual MSIs?

I would also like the option to download the individual MSI install files. It would make pushing updates to users SO much easier.

Well, if you really want the raw MSIs, here you go:

• ABP for IE 1.0 MSI for 32-bit Windows
• ABP for IE 1.0 MSI for 64-bit Windows
