CNBC video ads: three filters uneffective

Filters I'm using:
Fanboy
Easylist
Adversity

None of them block video ads on cnbc.com
I have disabled the 'allow unobtrusive ads' option.

That combination used to block the video ads, but it hasn't for the past month or so.

BTW, I appreciate ABP allowing me to post in its forum without registering.

A lot of these video sites need to play the ad in order for the video to play, but if you give us some sample links we can take a look at it.

Every video on cnbc.com displays ads.

These prerolls are needed to view the video, without the preroll, the video wont play.. so we can't block the advert.

Another example of why we need a user configurable option governing how to handle situations where ads can't be blocked without breaking a website.

There isn't a general programmatic way to determine whether a video-player successfully loaded its video, nor what video was tried to be loaded, nor whether a failure was the result of a request blocked by ABP.

Also FTR you should stick with one of those three subscriptions, and possibly some associated supplements; I recommend Fanboy, and I personally use his combined Fanboy Ultimate subscription.
