Adblock Plus

so suddenly today i noticed that advertisements do start before videos they just won't continue so you see the little advertisement part for a split second all black then the video starts it used to be that it wouldn't show at all does this mean google is trying to block out adblock?

makes me scared

It means that Google has changed how YouTube ads work within the Flash-based player, so now the old filter-lists don't work the same way on the ads; if Google were trying to be mean, it would just do what some other video providers do (like apparently ABC) by refusing to play the content unless the ads could load.
