Gmail chat text window is blocked

On Firefox 7.0.1, Linux Mint 11, Gmail as such works fine (unlike the problem mentioned in this other guy's bug report), but the chat window doesn't. It's a recent change, maybe 1-2 weeks old: when I open a chat window (pop-in or out), there is no room for me to enter text.

Otherwise: great add-on!

Did make me think of decreasing the expiry date, to 2 or 3 days. But its a little late for that.
