I clicked the block tab on a you tube video to block that one in particular. However, it has now blocked all videos of every kind. I want to undo this. I use firefox 1.3.9 . i have checked my other security systems and such. How do i undo the block on flash/active x files or control or whatever it is called, if that is even what i ended up blocking, seems like it from a search but no good info on how to undo this as firefox does not have tools?
Thanks!

Ok, I messed around with this some more and found the block in the my filters section. I removed it. I now can SEE the video but none of them have any sound at all. I have adjusted all the sound things I can find and shut down the browser and cleared all the web history and shut down and all that but still no sound. What else can I do to get the sound back?

I would be very surprised if the no sound issue is related to ABP.

Try disabling ABP and checking if you have sound.

Thank you, that was helpful. I disabled abp and still no sound. So, what happened when I blocked the you tube video and then no you tube videos were visable or had sound. Then I took the block off of abp and the video image came back but no sound. If it is not abp what else could it be as I did not change anything else and had sound before????? where do I go now since it is not abp?
Thanks.

It always pays to check the simple things first. Check you have sounds in Windows (check volume controls in flash player and in Windows).

Yes, I checked all that. This morning I found and ran a diagnostic from windows. It fixed the issue..... however it did. I checked and updated flash player, firefox, you tube, abp, net nanny, norton and windows.... nothing, until i ran the diagnostic. I am no computer person so don't really know what it was. I had checked the sound cards and settings and that did nothing. But, maybe i did something wrong and it was that all along. Anyway, I have a very cleaned up and updated computer now. :)
Thanks for the helps!
