In "My Ad Blocking Rules" I have
*$script,third-party
then so facebook will work properly I added the exception
@@||fbcdn.net^$domain=facebook.com,script
which I thought is supposed to restrict the exception only when the page I'm on is facebook.com
However when I goto www.break.com this exception rule applies and all the fbcdn.net scripts run on break.com when I thought I made the rule to only allow them when on facebook.com
So what am I doing wrong and what is the proper way to handle this?
exceptions not restricted to domain
Re: exceptions not restricted to domain
You didn't do anything wrong, break.com is loading the facebook stuff directly from facebook. This is a limitation of ABP and at the moment there is probably nothing you can doabout it.
What you need is a top level domain feature as requested in the following topic
