Block ads in Youtube Facebook videos

Adblocking for ads in Youtube works fine but if a Youtube video is embedded within Facebook, overlayed ads appear again. Is there a way to work around that and if not, would it be possible to add a feature for that?

Thanks

The maintainers of EasyList, Fanboy, Hubird (maintainer of Adversity), and whoever maintains your list if it's not one of these three will likely need to add rules for youtube-nocookie.com; also if you're using Chrome, keep in mind that YouTube ad-blocking only works on the main video page (not even on the channel page), and only because on the main page, the ad parameters are embedded in the URL or in the flashvars, somewhere that can be manipulated by either AdBlock or ABP, because no Chrome extension can intercept requests made within plugin content.

If you could provide example pages with ads and an issue report it would help.

So you say it is in general not possible to block ad layers in youtube videos if they're not on the main YT-site? That would suck big time.

Well I can't give you a certain link since Facebook is not public but if you paste a YT link of a video that contains an ad layer in the "what are you doing" field it is automatically embedded within Facebook.

Here's another way to put it:

Find a YouTube video with ads (or have someone send you a link to one).

Post it in a status update on your own Facebook account.

Click the video button to play it.

I did something similar to test whether the Rickroll Blacklist was seriously working, but then I was trying to see whether it blocked the embedded video entirely...
