Won't Add Filters At All (Uninstalled/Re-Installed)

ABP worked great on my computer. Could right-click and click on an image and add the filter and it'd be gone. Then, it just stopped working altogether. All my lists quit filtering and when I tired to add a new one, it wouldn't do anything at all when I click Add Filter. Nothing. It doesn't disappear or anything.

So, I uninstalled ABP using the button in the Add-Ons window, downloaded the newest version today, and installed it. When I got to the point where it asks to add the first filter, I clicked on Easy List (or whatever) and Add Filter (or whatever the button was). Nothing! Clicked and clicked. The button looks like, you know, it's being pressed, but it does nothing. Pressed enter with it highlighted and nothing.

Seriously weird.

Okay, I was leaving out a piece of information. There was a windows balloon that said I had a corrupted file, and that it was one of ABP's. But, that was before I uninstalled/reinstalled it. So, I didn't think that had anything to do with it. Apparently I was wrong.

I ran Scandisk or Checkdisk, whatever Win XP calls it, and it found some corrupt files and stuff and now it works.

I forgot what the Internet was like w/o ABP! My poor old computer can hardly handle it!
