suggestion: parent selector

Hi,
Is it possible to implement some sort of parent selector like in jquery as an extension to css?
Quite a few sites have ads placed in a table with no attributes, and there's no way to block them without blocking a hell lot of other false positives
Currently I'm forced to use jetpack (greasemonkey does not fire quick enough)
Compared to the wonderful things this feature can do, I think a slight performance decrease will be alright
